Anti-Wrinkle Injections
About the treatment
Botox, short for Botulinum Toxin, is a highly popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Approved by the FDA, botox works by temporary relaxing
targeted facial muscles, resulting in smoother, younger looking skin.
It's most commonly used to treat expression lines such as crow's feet, forehead lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows.
In addition to it's cosmetic benefits, Botox is also used for a variety of medical purposes, including the treatment of chronic migraines,
excessive sweating (hyperhydrosis), and muscle spasms.
Botox injections are quick, minimally inasive, and typiacally require little to no downtime, making them an ideal choice for individuals seeking subtle, natural looking enhancements with noticeable
results.
Whether your looking to refresh your appearance or address a specific concern, Botox can be a safe and effective part of your personalised aesthetic care plan.

Dermal Fillers
About the treatment
My client had chosen to increase the volume slightly in her lips and correct the balance in the bottom lip.
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to restore volume and structure to specific areas of the face. By hydrating, plumping, and firming the skin, they effectively create a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Common treatment areas include the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, tear troughs, corners of the mouth, jawline, and chin.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps deliver nutrients, retain moisture, and add volume. The longevity of results varies per individual and depends on the specific filler used and treatment area. Your practitioner will discuss this in detail during your consultation.
Downtime is typically minimal, though some swelling and
bruising can occur. The extent of this depends on the areas treated and will be covered during your consultation.
Duration: 30-45 minutes
Longevity: 6-18 months
Results: Plumper, smoother, youthful skin
Downtime: 24-48 hours

Skin Boosters
Profhilo & Seventy Hyal
About the treatment:
Skin boosters are injectable cosmetic treatments that improve overall skin quality, hydration, texture, and elasticity from within.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which add volume to specific areas, skin boosters provide a more subtle, natural-looking glow by enhancing the skin's natural radiance.
What skin boosters are made of and how they work:
- Hyaluronic acid (HA): Most skin boosters are primarily made of a soft, gel-like, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. This ingredient, naturally found in the skin, attracts and holds over 1,000 times its weight in water, providing deep and long-lasting hydration.
- Other nourishing ingredients: Many formulations also include a blend of vitamins, minerals, peptides, and amino acids to further support skin health and rejuvenation.
The treatment works by:
- Injecting into the dermis: Small microinjections of the booster are delivered into the dermis, the skin's middle layer, allowing the ingredients to disperse evenly.
- Triggering natural responses: The injections stimulate the skin's natural processes, encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin for improved firmness and elasticity.
- Hydrating from within: The HA attracts water, providing deep and lasting hydration that topical creams cannot reach.
Benefits of skin boosters
- Deep hydration: Delivers intense moisture to revitalise dry, tired, and dull-looking skin, resulting in a more dewy and plump complexion.
- Improved texture: Smooths out fine lines, rough patches, and crepey skin by boosting collagen and elastin.
- Enhanced elasticity: Restores and strengthens skin elasticity, which diminishes with age.
- Natural radiance: Creates a healthy, natural glow and more even skin tone.
- Versatility: Can treat various areas, including the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.
- Complementary treatment: Can be combined with other cosmetic procedures like facials or dermal fillers for comprehensive results.
Duration: 30-45 minutes
Longevity: 6-12 months
Results: Plumper, smoother, youthful skin
Downtime: 24-48 hours
Polynucleotides
About the treatment:
Polynucleotides are biopolymers composed of chains of nucleotides, which are the fundamental building blocks of DNA and RNA. They are used in aesthetic and regenerative medicine to stimulate the body's natural cell repair and rejuvenation processes.
A simplified way to understand polynucleotides is to think of them as a repair boost for your skin. They use small, naturally derived DNA fragments, often from fish, to signal your skin cells to regenerate and heal themselves.
Unlike dermal fillers, which add instant volume to an area, polynucleotides focus on improving your skin's overall quality from the inside out. The effects are gradual but can be more natural-looking and long-lasting.
Key functions of polynucleotides:
- Wakes up skin cells: They activate special skin cells called fibroblasts, which are responsible for producing collagen and elastin. This tightens and firms the skin over time.
- Improves hydration: They help skin cells attract and retain water, which makes your skin look plumper and more hydrated.
- Repairs damage: Their regenerative properties help heal and repair damaged skin, which is why they can be used to treat scars, stretch marks, and sun damage.
- Reduces inflammation: They have an anti-inflammatory effect that helps calm redness and is beneficial for conditions like rosacea and dark circles under the eyes.
Duration: 30-45 minutes
Longevity: 6-12 months
